The Truth

What We Believe

There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

John 1 verses 1 – 5 : In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him was life, and that light was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

2 Tim 3 verse 16: All Scripture is God-Breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Our Responsibility

2 Pe 3 verses 3 – 11: His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your Faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mt 28 verses 19 – 20: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

It Is Good That You Recognize Your Weakness

That Keeps us looking to Jesus, which is our strength. Abundant life is not necessarily health and wealth; its living in continual dependence on Him. Instead of trying to fit this day into a preconceived mold, relax and be on the lookout for what He is doing. This mind-set will free us to enjoy Him and find what He has planned for us to do. This is far better than trying to make things go according to our own plan.

Let us not take ourselves so seriously. We need to lighten up and laugh with Him. We have Jesus on our side, so what are we worried about? He can equip us to do absolutely anything, as long as it is His will. The more difficult our day, the more He yearns to help us. Anxiety wraps us up in ourself, trapping us in our own thoughts. When we look to Jesus and whisper His name, we break free and receive His help. Let us focus on Him, and we will find Peace in His presence.
